Introduction
On my homepage you will find some 450 wines from all regions of France. On the one hand wines produced traditionally by small wineries all Family Estates, in a price range between 5.60 and 45 euros per bottles. On the other hand famous classified growths (Grands Crus Classés and asimilated) especially from Bordeaux: older vintages and young ones.
All the products on this homepage are ON STOCK and promptly available. If you wish any wine from France that is not here, please don't hesitate to contact me on the phone or per email.

La Dame de Montrose 2005, Saint-Estèphe 2nd vin - Parker 88 |
Note 90-92: An outstanding Second Wine for Montrose and an astute buy for those seeking a good wine rather than good label. A deep black inky hue. The palate has lush black cherries, plum and hedgrow. Very intense aromas (especially for a second wine.) Slightly lower acidity than I would like on the palate, but it has superb grip and persistency with layers of blackberry. Very rounded and expressive. Just a lovely wine that you could purloin and drink this evening. Neal martin in www.wine-journal.com
Note 89-91: A sleeper selection, the estate's second wine, the 2005 La Dame de Montrose, is a blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon and 46% Merlot. Possibly the finest second wine Montrose has yet produced, it is a full-bodied effort with supple tannins as well as surprising power, richness, and expansiveness.
